 Planning a concert? Need professional musicians to enhance your annual banquet or a wedding reception? The Office of Musical Attractions can help.
We are a not-for-profit booking service representing student artists at the IU Jacobs School of Music. We arrange for music majors to perform for banquets, weddings, receptions, conferences, dedication ceremonies, and other special occasions. In all, the Office of Musical Attractions handles over 200 events annually.
We strive to maintain a very personal yet professional relationship with our clients. When all booking arrangements are complete, a written contract issued. The artist then contacts the client to make final arrangements. The proceeds from all special events not only help support our ongoing programs, but add to the School of Music's scholarship fund and finance one graduate assistantship each year.
To book the group or soloist of your choice, please contact us at least three weeks before your special event. You can call during office hours or fill out our Booking Request Form. If you're planning a special event during the summer months or holidays, we recommend you give us even more lead time, since artists' schedules are filled very quickly. Musicians from the Jacobs School of Music are available year-round.
