"If I were to put my philosophy of teaching into words, it would be that I am committed to giving my students real tools in the form of a good vocal technique which they can rely on in the competitive world of classical singing. With that, I will help them develop their natural sound and their musical and dramatic abilities so that they reach their highest level of confidence in performing. My experience from 35 years of international engagements as well as 24 years of teaching voice gives me unique insight into the preparation of young singers. I expect of my students the highest degree of commitment and concentration if they wish to get the most out of their IU School of Music years."
