Tensions boil when Tony, who belongs to the Anglo gang, the Jets, falls in love with Maria, the sister of the leader of the rival Puerto Rican gang, the Sharks. Despite all the ugliness, there are also flashes of beauty, love, and hope. Featuring the dynamic original Jerome Robbins choreography and some of the most popular music of all time. Sung in English with English supertitles "Opera Insights" Pre-opera lecture at 7:00 p.m. in the Musical Arts Center Mezzanine.
