FIRST-TIME APPLICANT:
1a.

Before applying online to the IU Jacobs School of Music:

  • Undergraduate applicants: You must complete the IU Bloomington Online Application for Admission. You will use the same e-mail address for both the Indiana University application and the IU Jacobs School of Music applications.

  • Graduate applicants: You must first complete the Apply Yourself TM application before you begin this application to the Jacobs School of Music. Please record your Apply Yourself TM PIN as you will need it to create an account to use the online application for Jacobs School of Music.
1b. If you have applied to Indiana University Bloomington using the paper application, you may not use our online application. Instead, you must download and print our Undergraduate paper application or Graduate paper application and send it to us with your $50 School of Music application fee and any other required materials.
   
2. Create an account with the IU Jacobs School of Music by using your e-mail address (undergraduate) or ApplyYourselfTM PIN (graduate) .

  • Fees
    There is a $50 fee for applying to the IU Jacobs School of Music. This fee is in addition to other application fees from Indiana University.

  • Applied to IU Bloomington using the paper application and don't have an Apply Yourself TM PIN?
    If you have applied to Indiana University, Bloomington using the paper application you may not use our online application.
