Recording Services

The Indiana Univeristy School of Music Department of Recording Arts offers a full range of services to students, faculty, and guests of the School of Music. Recordings and production are provided by senior students in the Department of Recording Arts. Services include recital recording, recording sessions, editing and production, tape and CD copying, CD production, and much more. Recording Services can also make copy of any of your performances archived in the School of Music Library. Please stop by and we will more than happy to help.

Recitals Archived by the School of Music (D.M., P.D., and A.D.)

Performance:

CD-R: $15.00

Rehearsal:

CD-R for 1 hour: $15.00
CD-R for 2 hours: $25.00

*Recitals not paid for 10 working days in advance will be subject to a $10.00 late fee

Recitals Not Archived by the School of Music (Junior, Senior, Masters, non degree)

Performance:

CD-R: $50.00

Rehearsal:

CD-R for 1 hour: $15.00
CD-R for 2 hours: $25.00

School of Music Ensemble Concerts

CD-R: $15.00

* To request a copy of an SOM concert, you must have participated as a soloist or have played a major solo part. Permission of the conductor is required. Certain concerts may have prohibitions on copying.

Rehearsal CD-R: $15.00

*A recording of an SOM ensemble rehearsal may be requested by a soloist only. Permission of the conductor is required. Certain concerts may have prohibitions on recording.

Recording Sessions

2-hour session (includes CD-R): $50.00
Each additional hour (includes CD-R): $25.00

*Sessions not paid for 10 working days in advance will be subject to a $10.00 late fee

Dubbing

CD to CD: $3.50 ea.

*We will not make copies of commercial CDs

DAT to CD: $15.00 setup fee, (CD copies as above)
CD to DAT: $15.00 ea.
Cassette (from any media): $15.00 ea.
1/4 inch tape to CD: $25.00 per hour for first copy, CD copies as above

Per hour: $25.00
