Usually, a specific day is scheduled for a recording/reading session. For Fall 2009, there will NOT be a specific reading session. Rather, I will read works as possible throughout the semester. So, if you have a work or excerpt you would like read, get in touch with me and I will try to fit it in.

CALL FOR SCORES
2-8 works/excerpts will be selected for a reading, depending on length
and difficulty.
Preference will be given to ensemble works rather than chamber works.
Works in progress are allowed, encouraged, and even preferred!
This is meant to be a laboratory situation. Take advantage of it.
Write 5 voicings of the same chord, orchestrate a passage 3 ways, try
something you are not sure will work, etc.

MINIMUM INSTRUMENTATION: 7 instruments

SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE:
your e-mail address and telephone number; one score (indicate transposed or concert);
duration of the composition or excerpt(s);
one sample part; any harp or piano part
DEADLINE:
12:00 noon, Monday, TBA. Entries may be left for David Dzubay in the mail office (MU003).
SELECTED WORKS will be announced (posted on the NME bulletin board in Clouse's Lounge) on TBA

- parts MUST be neat, legible, accurate, double sided, bound, etc.
- include measure numbers at the start of every system
- it is preferable to also include rehearsal letters or numbers (circled measure #s)
- account for page turns
