This course will examine the theories of musical learning, including cognitive processes, musical development, psychomotor skills, musical creativity, personality, along with sociological and the cultural factors that may impact musical learning. We will then explore instructional deign and sequencing for a variety of musical learning settings, from private lessons to classrooms.
