
ETDrill License Agreement
Important: Please read this software license agreement carefully before opening the diskette package and/or using the software. By using the software, you (whether you are an individual or an institution) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated below. If you do not agree with the terms of this license, promptly return the unused software to the Indiana University School of Music and your money will be refunded. "Software" refers to all software and data files contained on the diskette or installation file (if distributed electronically) and all documentation.
1. COPYRIGHT. This Software is protected by U.S. copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. It is your responsibility to adhere to these laws.
2. TERMS OF LICENSE.
a. This Software is licensed, not sold. The Software remains the property of Indiana University.
b. You may install and use the Software on one computer for each license purchased.
c. Institutions installing the Software on a server for delivery via a computer network must purchase an Additional License for each computer attached to the network capable of running the software. If more computers are attached to the network, Additional Licenses must be purchased.
d. This license may not be transferred to another owner, but it may be transferred from one computer to another belonging to the original purchaser, provided it is removed from the first computer.
e. You may store backup copies of the Software provided the terms outlined above are observed.
3. ADDITIONAL TERMS.
a. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
b. The Software is licensed as a single product. Its component parts may not be separated for use on more than one computer.
c. You may not rent, lease, or lend the Software.
d. This license applies only to the current version of the software. Licenses for subsequent upgrades must be purchased separately.
4. WARRANTY.
a. You may return the Software for a full refund, for any reason, within thirty (30) days of purchase, provided all media and documentation are returned at your expense, and you provide written assurance that any and all installed copies have been removed.
b. The diskette or other media on which the Software is shipped is warranted to be free of defect. Indiana University will provide a replacement copy at no charge upon written request, provided the defective media is discarded.
c. No other warranties apply.
5. TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Although Indiana University intends to provide limited technical support of the Software, it makes no assurance of the availability or extent of that support.
