T109 - Ear Training Programs
Below are several programs designed for drill work with aural skills in T109. These programs are not designed to replace instruction in these skills - there is no teaching involved here. Instead, these programs are intended to help you practice these essential skills on your own.
Click on the links below to bring up each program. You may choose to save to your desktop or run the program from the internet. A window asking for "piano.cst" will open; click on cancel. Once the program opens, click "New" immediately, then "Play" to hear a randomly-generated question. Click the button to answer the question. Once the correct answer is given, the program should advance to another randomly-generated question. Click on the X in the upper-right corner of the window to exit.
These programs will run on most Windows systems. I am working on creating similar programs for the Macintosh system. I will announce in class when these are ready.
