WELCOME!

In our New Years edition, we bring you a discussion of things you can do to kickstart your new semester with resolutions or to have a few laughs to keep the stress down (we like both approaches). We welcome your ideas and suggestions!

Are you all about setting New Years Resolutions or are you a take it as it comes kinda person?

As always, and especially in our New Years Edition, we have something for everyone…plus a preview of coming attractions this semester!

For all of you go-getters out there, this is a great time to set some very practical goals. Music Think Tank's 6 Big New Years Resolutions for Musicians can help you think about how you plan your time, develop your technique, and focus on your career development.

Music Industry consultant Bobby Borg shares his predictions about the future of the music industry in 2017 and beyond - how might your own career goals connect?

Take a look at this reminder about making New Years resolutions to help you keep your perspective.

Finally, if you reject the whole idea of New Years Resolutions and everything they stand for, check out 10 New Years Resolutions of Video Game Heroes to validate your worldview.

Happy New Year everyone and welcome back for a great spring semester!
