Impact of the Dean's Circle


Recently, the Dean’s Circle helped fund numerous opportunities presented to students during the 2015-2016 academic year.

The Indiana University Wind Ensemble performed at Carnegie Hall in March. Professor Stephen Pratt conducted the ensemble in the showcase performance of the New York Wind Band Festival. This incredible experience was provided by the Dean's Circle. Professor Stephen Pratt conducting.

Project Jumpstart, which the Dean’s Circle provided initial and continued funding, provides relevant career development and entrepreneurial programs.  Their Well-Advised Lunch Series has featured numerous, astounding artists like, Cliff Colnot, Civic Orchestra Principal Conductor at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Jamie Barton, mezzo-soprano and 2015 Richard Tucker Award recipient, as well as many more. 

In April of 2016, the Dean's Circle funded the travel for six Jacobs School students who were invited to perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC as part of the Millennium Stage Conservatory Project recognizing and celebrating astonishing young talent.
