There have been a number of changes in Music Information Technology
Services (MITS) in recent months. We encourage you to send
us comments or feedback at any time.
What do we do?
MITS supports day-to-day technical operations for faculty, students, and administration, including network infrastructure, desktop support
and help desk, database development and support, website design and
maintenence, faculty curricular development and classroom technology
and public lab support. Working with the Instructional Technology
Policy Committee (ITPC) we encourage the strategic use of technology
to support the artistic and educational objectives of the Jacobs School
of Music, and research and teach the role of technology in the music
profession.
We we welcome your feedback and encourage suggestions
for improvement and additions to our services in general. Please
