Percussion Ensemble

Meeting Times: Tuesday, 12:15–2:15 p.m.; Wednesday, 4–6 p.m.

Description: The IU percussion ensemble [MUS-X490 for undergraduate (1 credit) and MUS-550 (1 credit) graduate percussion majors] performs a balance of historically relevant repertoire and contemporary works. The purpose of this ensemble is to cultivate sensitive chamber music skills and to investigate and employ the appropriate performance techniques on all percussion instruments. IU percussion ensemble performs 2 concerts each semester and has been featured in various off-campus events.
