For the first time, the Edward Auer Summer Piano Workshop will accept online participants and auditors! We're thrilled to be able to inspire you with the musical experience of these 11 days: the master classes, artist recitals, student performances and competitions (more than 30 hours altogether).
This means that we can welcome everybody in the whole world!
About the Workshop:
Established about 15 years ago, our workshop started as a modest four-day Chopin class. We grew up with generous support from many friends. This year, we will have nine faculty members.
The Winners Concert will take place on June 12. A specially convened IU orchestra will be conducted by Arthur Fagen
First place winner will be invited to the 2016 workshop to perform a solo recital
Audition for Jacobs School of Music in June and save a trip during the year
MASTERCLASSES & PRIVATE LESSONS
Study with top international piano professors & learn from talented peers
There will be eight masterclasses, seven concerts, two competitions and a lecture,as well as more than 150 private lessons
Mingle with faculty and fellow participants at parties
