Late applications will be accepted on the basis of available space.

Refunds: Tuition refunds, minus a $170.00 cancellation charge, will be given if a participant withdraws from the program prior to the start of the workshop. Tuition refunds are not guaranteed after the workshop has begun and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Housing
Percussion Academy participants stay in a double room (with roommate) in the Forest Residence Center. Forest includes air conditioning, sheets and towels, and coin-operated laundry facilities available for personal use. Three meals are served daily. Televisions are not allowed in individual rooms. Adult counselors are resident in the dorm.
Percussion Workshop participants stay in a single room in the Forest Residence Center on a separate floor from the pre-college participants.
Staying Off-Campus

Percussion Academy and Workshop participants may stay off campus; however, Academy participants must stay with a parent or guardian. Click on "Visiting" in the left menu for travel information and list of accommodations in Bloomington.

Participants staying off-campus cannot buy meal cards. If he/she wishes to eat meals with on-campus participants he/she will have to pay with cash or credit card for each meal.

Off-campus participants under age 18 are the responsibility of the established legal guardian. A drop-off and collect time has to be settled in advance with our staff. The agreed drop-off and collect time should be convenient to the daily schedule.

Transportation to the Indiana University campus is the responsibility of the designated legal guardian.

At no time can a participant under age 18 be dropped on the Indiana University campus and left unattended. The participant must be handed-off from the legal guardian to a Percussion counselor.
The Jacobs School of Music reserves the right to cancel a workshop if enrollment is not met. Participants will be informed 2 weeks before the start of the workshop and receive a full refund.
