Welcome to the Jacobs School of Music Summer String Academy website!
We are looking forward to the 29th year of the Summer String Academy. Students will again be coming from around the world to participate in two private lessons weekly, chamber music, master classes, and performances. The IU Summer Festival will include performances by the Rubens Quartet, Pacifica Quartet, The Festival Chamber Players and many more. The summer will be devoted to concerts and lectures exploring the music of the 20th and 21st centuries. It is all very exciting.
The 2013 dates are June 22nd to July 20th.
