| VIOLIN VIRTUOSI TOUR SWEDEN AND SPAIN |
The IU String Academy’s Violin Virtuosi embark on a 10-day concert tour to Sweden and Spain on March 9. The tour comes on the heels of the PBS national premiere of the documentary Circling Around: The Violin Virtuosi, which will be broadcast on more than 220 public television stations around the United States this month.

Don’t miss Shigeo Neriki and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi as they perform all five of Beethoven’s cello sonatas tonight (March 9) and tomorrow night at 8pm in Auer Hall! Then, after a brief respite next week for spring break, Brian Horne and Edwin Penhorwood kick off the final leg of spring semester March 20, followed by Steve Houghton directing the Jazz Combo March 21. Enjoy music of Frescobaldi as performed by the Early Music Institute’s Concentus ensemble March 22, with Carl Lenthe conducting the Brass Choir March 23. The annual Spring Ballet takes the MAC stage March 24 and 25! These are just a few of the highlights of the plethora of riveting musical experiences waiting for you at the Jacobs School of Music!
