"LA BOHÈME" A FEAST FOR THE SENSES

David HigginsAudiences will experience Giacomo Puccini's classic La Bohème like never before when they attend IU Opera Theater’s all new production, which opens Nov. 9 at 8pm in the Musical Arts Center, with additional performances Nov. 10, 16, and 17. A cutting-edge set by IU Jacobs School of Music master designer C. David Higgins (right) and stage direction from returning guest director Tito Capobianco (left) lead this spectacular production. IU CHAMBER ORCHESTRA AT OGLE CENTER

Uriel Segal The Jacobs School of Music continues IU's Moveable Feast of the Arts Series with the second of three performances this season at the Ogle Center on the campus of IU Southeast in New Albany, Ind. The IU Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Jacobs Principal Guest Conductor Uriel Segal, will perform on Nov. 9 at 7:30pm. Click here for more>>

ConcentusPrepare to enjoy one of the largest and most lavish collegiate productions ever when IU Opera Theater’s La Bohème opens Nov. 9! Other highlights of the next two weeks are the World Drumming Concert and Concentus, also tomorrow evening. Sunday spotlights trumpeter Fabio Sampo in Faculty/Guest Recital, the Symphonic and Concert Bands, Pro Arte with the Baroque Orchestra, baritone Chul Woong Kim, and the Brass Choir. Don’t miss the Percussion and Jazz Ensembles on Monday, as they kick off another hot week of great music here at the Jacobs School!
