| NEW KUTTNER QUARTET BEGINS REHEARSALS |
Even before they were named members of the Jacobs School of Music's Kuttner Quartet, Yotam Baruch, Danbi Um, Bella Hristova, and Rose Armbrust had experience playing beautiful music together. All four were part of a select group of Jacobs students who performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., last February. >>Click here for more.

| JACOBS SCHOOL SEASON INCLUDES WEALTH OF DIVERSITY |
Continuing its tradition of nurturing and presenting the world's greatest musicians, the IU Jacobs School of Music will offer more than 1,100 events during its 2009-10 season, including the opening IU Philharmonic concert, Sept. 16, conducted by David Effron, and featuring Eric Kim, cello, in his first faculty performance, as well as Jacobs Professor Alexander Kerr, violin, and ISO violist Michael Strauss. >>Click here for more.

| IU OPERA AND BALLET SEASON OPENS IN TWO WEEKS! |
The new IU Opera and Ballet Theater season will open two weeks from today (Sept. 25) with Rossini's L'Italiana in Algeri, with additional performances on Sept. 26 and Oct. 2 and 3. The fall ballet, Diaghilev Tribute, will be presented the following weekend, on Oct. 9 and 10! >>Click here for more.
