Another masterpiece! This time the very best of Massenet's 25 operas. Manon begins as an innocent, naive, and exceedingly beautiful young girl ready to blossom into womanhood. Her beauty is a light that attracts men like moths to a flame, and temptation is at hand in the person of the handsome Chevalier des Grieux. While epitomizing the eternal feminine, Manon is also frivolous and fragile. In the end, her beauty is her undoing.

Sung in French with English supertitles.
