Recognized as one of the most dynamic American conductors of his generation, Michael Stern is music director of the Kansas City Symphony and is the founding music director of the IRIS Chamber Orchestra. He returns to the IU Summer Music Festival for this concert.

David Robertson’s consummate musicianship, fresh stylistic instincts, and extensive mastery of orchestral, as well as operatic, repertoire have made him one of the most important conductors of today. Currently the music director of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and the principal guest conductor of London’s BBC Symphony Orchestra.
