University Chorale
(Magic Flute Opera Chorus - Fall 2009)

The University Chorale will serve as the Opera Chorus for IU's new production of Mozart's Magic Flute Conducted by Mark Gibson.  Mark Doerries prepares the chorus for this production; the ensemble will sing Mendelssohn's Elijah conducted by Richard Tang Yuk in the spring as well a recitals by choral conducting graduate students. This chamber choir performs a variety of repertoire and is the foundation for large-scale oratorios, generally performed once a year. University Chorale is the smallest of the chamber choirs offered at Indiana University.

Rehearsal Times:

Fall - Tuesday & Thursday Sept. 5-Oct 15 (2:30-3:50, Auer Hall Green Room)

            Mon-Friday Oct. 19- Nov. 5
