Leading the Chorus of a Major Symphony Orchestra,
a question and answer session with Robert Porco
Robert Porco, Director of Choruses of the Cleveland Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Cincinnati May Festival Chorus, is currently in residency with the Choral Department of the Jacobs School of Music. He will hold a question and answer session on how to lead and manage the large choruses affiliated with major symphony orchestras, addressing issues of auditioning, programming, interaction with the orchestra's music director, community outreach, etc. This session will be particularly useful to both choral and instrumental conductors, as well as art administration students.
