IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT M410, HANDEL

If any of you had considered registering for the Handel class but were deterred from doing so by the erroneous "graduate only" restriction in the bulletin, please note that the course is still OPEN--indeed, it has a registration of ONE!!!-- and it IS for undergrads and meets

MWF 11:15-12:05 in MA404.

The course covers not only Handel's life and works, but also more general issues of style, dramaturgy, expression and aesthetics in the late Baroque as they relate to Handel. 

Professor Fader is an expert in 18th-century music and its performance practice, and I strongly recommend his classes; I am not trying to get rid of students, but hate to see a good course go to waste.  If you yourself are not interested, please pass the word!!!
