M 502 HANDEL
A new 502 has been opened--Professor Fader's HANDEL. It meets
MWF 11:15-12:05 in MA404.
The course covers not only Handel's life and works, but also more general issues of style, dramaturgy, expression and aesthetics in the late Baroque as they relate to Handel.
Professor Fader is an expert in 18th-century music and its performance practice, and I strongly recommend his classes; I am not trying to get rid of students, but hate to see a good course go to waste. If you yourself are not interested, please pass the word!!!
