Compositional structure
- Definition:
Composition plans, which amount mainly to rationalizations
about what formerly were empirical observations (lengths
of phrases, motives, etc., to create form types; harmonic
paradigms; set and serial theory). Boundaries of levels are
often based on such plans. Ontology amounts to "This is the
way people hear it." See Narmour (1983).
