Violins and violas made at factory of J. Thibouville-Lamy, Mirecourt, 1920.  Excellent modeling, worksmanship, material.  Label of those made by his sons marked Paris. 

Louis Emile Jérome Thibouville-Lamy
Born at Mouttes in 1833.    Worked at Mirecourt and Paris, sole proprietor of various factories at Mirecourt.  Violins exhibited in Vienna (1873), awarded medals in every country.  Honored with Chevalier of the Legion of Honor ribbon, 1877.  Generally escellent Stadivarius models.
