Procedures for final submission of the MME
thesis
After the defense, the student must have all three copies of the
signature page signed by the Thesis director. The student may then
submit the copies for binding. See
http://graduate.indiana.edu/thesisGuide.php for general guideline on
the format of Masters' theses.
The student has three options for binding of the final copies:
- The student may deliver the document to:
Smith Bookbindery
112 W. 10th St.
Bloomington, IN 47404
phone: (812) 332-2743
- The student may send the documents to the Music Graduate Office
and have Smith Bookbindery pick up and return them for a fee (c.
$10.00).
- The student may have the documents bound elsewhere and sent to
the Music Graduate Office after binding.
If the student has the document bound at Smith
Bookbindery, the Music Graduate Office needs only confirmation that the
bindery has received the documents that the student has paid the bindery
fees--a receipt from the bindery will suffice--by the last day of final
exams for the student to graduate. If the student has the document bound
elsewhere, the Music Graduate Office must receive the actual bound
documents by the last day of final exams for the student to graduate.
