Welcome to the 63rd Annual

IU Summer Music Clinic

June 7-13, 2009

The 63rd Annual I.U. Summer Music Clinic offers the high school student a musically challenging experience on the beautiful wooded Indiana University campus. Students live in university housing with final concerts presented in the Musical Arts Center. All members of clinic staff are experienced and successful music instructors in their own right. A number of recital and program opportunities are presented throughout the week.

Ensembles

The Clinic operates two Concert Bands, an Orchestra and two Jazz Bands. 2008 clinicians included Stephen W. Pratt and Paul W. Popiel from Indiana University as well as Jeffrey Grogan from the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. The program also offers small ensemble opportunities in Brass, Woodwind and String ensembles.

Eligibility

Students currently (Spring 2009) in grades 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12

Cost

The cost for the 2009 clinic is $475.  It includes Room with air conditioning, Board and a $75 non-refundable application fee. The IU Summer Music Clinic is unable to help with financial aid.
