María Luisa Rayan (harp) for her performance of the first movement from Alberto Ginastera's Harp Concerto Op.25, and Jesús Guridi's Viejo zortzico (Zortzico zarra).
SECOND PRIZE Ex Aequo
Marko Petricic (bayan-accordion) for his performance of Ernesto Lecuona's "Malaguena" from Suite Andalucía, and Isaac Albéniz's "Asturias (Leyenda)" from Suite española No.1, Op.47.
Carlos Saavedra (guitar) for his performance of Astor Piazzolla's "Verano Porteño" from Cuatro estaciones porteñas; Leo Brouwer's Estudios sencillos I, VI, and XX; the frist and second movements from Federico Moreno Torroba's Sonatina in A Major; and the last movement from Alberto Ginastera's Guitar Sonata Op.47.
