FIRST PRIZE Ex Aequo
Espen Jensen (guitar) for her performance of Federico Moreno Torroba's "Manzanares del Real," "Romance de los pinos," and "Turégano" from Castillos de España; Leo Brouwer's El Decamerón Negro; and Heitor Villa-Lobos Etude No.11 from Douze Etudes.
Ramsué López-Torres (guitar) for his performance of Leo Brouwer's Sonata for guitar, and Joaquín Rodrigo's Tres piezas españolas.

Violoncello Category

FIRST PRIZE Ex Aequo
Nabí Cabestany for his performance of the first, third, and fourth movement from Gaspar Cassadó's Sonata for cello and piano, and Leo Brouwer's Sonata for cello solo.
Helena Poggio for her performance of the second movement from Mozart Camargo Guarnieri's Sonata No.3 for cello and piano, and Gaspar Cassadó's Suite for cello solo.
