Jordi Torrent (piano) for his performance of Isaac Albéniz's "El Albaicín" from Book III of Iberia, Xavier Montsalvatge's Sonatine pour Yvette, Camargo Guarnieri's Chôro torturado, and Alexandre Eisenberg's Elegia.

SECOND PRIZE

Sergio Massardo (piano) for his performance of Isaac Albéniz's "Malagueña," Javier Farías' Jarochas, Sebastián Vergara's Hab-lando and Antigra-dual, Heitos Villa-Lobos' Valsa da dor, and Mauricio Yazigi's Por bulerías.

Popular Music Ensemble Category

GRAND PRIZE
Bugni-Rasmussen-Wittman Jazz trio (Gustavo Bugni, piano; Erik Rasmussen, drums; Jesse Wittman, bass) for their performance of Cláudio Guimarães's Seu Tenório, Isaac Albéniz's "Evocación" from Book I of Iberia, and Antônio Carlos Jobim's Águas de Março.

BEST ORIGINAL ARRANGEMENT PRIZE

José Luis Aguirre (clarinet); Michael Jones (bassoon); Hugo Vieira (percussion); Eduardo Wolf (guitars, accordion) for their arrangements of Elementales's Camino de pan bendito.
