Qiao Zhang (flute) for her performance of Camargo Guarnieri's Sonatina for flute and piano, Alexandre J. Eisenberg's Arquichorinho, and Salvador Broton's Sonata for flute and and piano, Op.21.

SECOND PRIZE Ex Aequo

Yuriria Rodríguez-Laureani, (soprano) for her performance of Jóse Serrano's La roca fría del Calvario, Manuel de Falla's Tus ojillos negros, Enrique Granados's Callejeo and El majo discreto, Astor Piazzolla's Milonga de la anunciación, Carlos Guastavino's La rosa y el sauce, Fulvio Villalobos-Sandoval's Pastoral, and Gonzalo Roig's Yo soy Cecilia Valdés.

Malena Tango Quintet for their performance of Astor Piazzolla's Mumuki and Contrabajíssimo, and Manuel de Falla's Danza ritual del fuego.

Ensemble Lipzodes for their performance of Alonso Lobo's Ego flos campi; Francisco Guerrero's Pange lingua gloriosi; and the anonymous Pabanilla, Quantelcta, Super flumine, Mulier quit prolas, Primero donos, [Untitled], Hic solus, Primero tonos, Maria de solo un buelo, Oy sube nuetra esperança, Pange lingua, Aparajad ballesteros, and Oy hasemos fiesta from Mss.1-4 and 8-10 (from Santa Eulalia, San Juan Ixcoi, and San Mateo Ixtatán in Guatemala).

L'aura for their performance of Juan del Encina's Oy comamos y bebamos, Antonio Valente's Tenore del passo e mezzo, Diego Ortiz's Recercada segunda, Lucas Ruiz de Ribayaz's Chaconas - Marionas and Paradetas, Juan de Caeza Saavedra's Por selebrar este dia; and the anonymous Senhora del mundo (from Chansonnier Masson 56) and Españoletas (from Martin y Coll's Flores de musica).
