Annual Competition in the Performance of

Music from Spain and Latin America

Resources Page

The Annual Competition in the Performance of Music from Spain and Latin America seeks to promote the knowledge and
performance of music from Spain and all countries in Latin America.  The competitors must present at least two works—one by a Spanish composer and another by a Latin American composer—chosen among the solo and chamber ensemble repertoire.  Two prizes may be awarded in the Open Interpretation category and one in the Special Focus category, which rotates every year among voice, the different instrumental families, chamber ensembles, and specialized ensembles (Early Music, Latin Jazz/Popular Music Ensembles).
