Florida International University School of Music presents
Music for the Next Century: Electroacustic Music from Latin America
The Florida International University School of Music will be presenting a concert of cutting edge works for instruments, recorded processed
sounds, and electronics by composers from Latin America as part of the FIU Music Festival. Featuring FIU's NODUS Ensemble the concert will include music by Javier Alvarez (Mexico), Ricardo Dal Fara (Argentina), Ileana Perez Velasquez (Cuba/USA), Juan Pampin (Argentina), Gustavo Matamoros (Venezuela), and Orlando Jacinto Garcia (Cuba/USA).
The concert will take place at 8:00 PM on Friday, November 5, 2004 at FIU's Wertheim Performing Arts Center - Instrumental Hall, located on
the University Park Campus, 107th Ave and SW 8th Street, Miami, Florida
USA. The event is Free and open to the public (no tickets required).
