Emilio Colón  

 

Puerto Rican cellist whose performances and editions include music from Latin America and Spain; Associate Professor of Music (Cello), Executive Vice President (Eva Janzer Memorial Cello Center), and Curator (JSOM Elite String Instrument Collection).
He transcribed and edited Ernesto Lecuona’s Danzas afro-cubanas for cello and piano (Boca Raton, Fl.: Masters Music Publications, 2004), which he also recorded on the Klavier compact disc K11143.
