Anthony Seeger

American ethnomusicologist whose research activities include music from Brazil; former Faculty (Anthropology) and former Director (Archives of Traditional Music).


He is the author of Why Suyá Sing: A Musical Anthropology of an Amazonian People (Cambridge University Press, 1987).
