Assistant Director, Latin American Music Center

Twelve-month, tenure-ineligible, renewable position

Appointment Effective Beginning July 2008

RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the director of the Latin American Music Center with the administration of the Center, including direct supervision of research services and archive acquisitions. Approximately one half of the responsibilities will consist of teaching undergraduate and graduate courses primarily in the history, repertoire and cultural context of Latin American concert and popular musics. Participation in Center creative activities is expected; possible service on Jacobs School of Music committees.
