Orrego-Salas, Milhaud,
Mendelssohn, Ravel and Ibert
Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004 -- 4:30 p.m
at the Unitarian Universalist Church
located at Fee Lane and the Bypass
The upcoming concert of CCMA's 29th season takes place on SATURDAY February 21st, at 4:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church and is free to the public.
The February concert showcases a trio by Juan Orrego-Salas, performed by Larry Vandermolen, Susanne Justis-Sechrist and Amey Strong. There will also be a SIDE - BY - SIDE performance of a portion of the Mendelssohn OCTET, featuring IU professors Allen and Helga Winold, combined with community members and high school students: Julia Copeland, Eliza Thomason, Sho Neriki, Yudai Chiba, Amy Rubinger and Hilary Glen. In addition, three Impressionist pieces for harp and flute will be played by Amey Strong and Wiedke Dirks-Hunt, and our award-winning scholarship recipient Tom Glassey will perform Milhaud's Scaramouche.
The Concert is FREE to the public and refreshments are served afterward.
