Sol y Canto's Bilingual Recording Receives Multiple Awards

"El doble de amigos/Twice as Many Friends,” Sol y Canto's most recent CD for children and their families on RounderKids, has been awarded three distinguished educational awards: Parent's Choice Silver Honors Award (June 2004); The Early Childhood News Directors' Choice Award (July 2004); and the National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) Honors Award (September 2004).

Sol y Canto's music is rich in vocal harmonies, Spanish guitar, wind, percussion and bass, and a combination of ballads and Latin rhythms, each performed with depth and enthusiasm. Their performances include special guest children singers from cities and small towns, turning their concerts into a community celebration.
