New Journal:
Twentieth-century music vol.1 no.1

The first issue of twentieth-century music (tcm), a new journal from Cambridge University Press, was published in July 2004. The electronic version is available at no charge from the Cambridge Journals Online website at

http://journals.cambridge.org/

tcm is dedicated to leading research on all aspects of twentieth-century music: Western art music, music from non-Western traditions, popular music, film music, jazz, improvised music, and performance practice.

The editors welcome submissions employing analytical, hermeneutical, historical, and sociological approaches, as well as those addressing broader historical and music-theoretic concerns.
