LAMC Recording Series

 

The Latin American Music Center is proud to announce the release of the first issue of its new Recordings Series of works by Latin American composers and performers. Tbe purpose of the series is to enhance the understanding and encourage the performance of Latin American masterworks, particularly those which are not currently in circulation.

Funding for the project is made possible through individual, corporate and state contributions. In the year 2000, the Olimpia Barbera Fund was established to support the creation of the series. With the cooperation of El Colegio Nacional de México, and Camerata de las Américas, together with the LAMC, the release of the first compact disc of the series has been made possible.
