Basic elements of stage deportment, posture, physical elements of stagecraft
applied to the rehearsal process of opera scenes and final presentation.

Basic postural elements and progressive exercise to integrate the voice, movement,
and facial expression. Historical etiquette, pantomime, ballroom dance are practiced, and
career planning is discussed. Semester one focuses on character research and analysis with
process application. Semester two offers the student opportunities for improvisation
study and performance application.
