Julia Rademacher is a clinical assistant professor in the department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She works with graduate students to evaluate and treat clients who present with a myriad of voice disorders, including professional voice problems, neurologically-based voice problems, transgender voice issues, and vocal phonotrauma-related problems. Her clients span the age spectrum.
Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, Julia trained and worked as a professional vocalist. She obtained a masterŐs degree in voice and opera performance from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, and has sung with opera choruses in the Indianapolis area. She currently maintains a private voice studio and sings locally in her church.
