All templates use CSS for maintaining consistent style across the site. The first three templates also use server side includes for creating a left navigation menu and "feature" items on the right of the page. The server side includes can be a real time saver. For example, you can use one to create a left navigation menu on the left of the page, and then use it on several pages.
Template 1 This template offers our most basic, classic look. It includes all of the standard features of our core templates, such as a spot for a photo with a caption, a search bar, the Jacobs School of Music Audio Player, and our custom footer. |

Template 2 This template offers a slightly more modern look, tightening up the 'swoosh' at the top of the screen. This reveals the departmental title a bit more to the visitor, but maintains your identity with the school. It also includes all of the standard features of our core templates, such as a spot for a photo with a caption, a search bar, the Jacobs School of Music Audio Player, and our custom footer. |

Template 3 This template is probably our most flexible while minimizing your workload. While offering a slightly different look with the straight edges, the unique thing here is that as a web browser window expands or shrinks, the content and images on the page will adjust to fit. Of course, it also includes all of the standard features of our core templates, such as a spot for a photo with a caption, a search bar, the Jacobs School of Music Audio Player, and our custom footer. |

Template 4 Not much of a template, this option is ideal for those who wish to have more creative control. This header bar maintains your identity with the Jacobs School of Music and allows visitors quick access back to the main web site. Below the bar, you can easily design your own web site entirely, or implement this bar into your existing web site. |
