Course Information

The Harp program is open to students with no previous musical training, though 1-2 years of piano and a sense of humor are highly recommended. An interview is necessary prior to acceptance in the program. Harp students receive one private lesson each week, participate in weekly master classes, and perform in a class recital at the end of each semester. The program is directed by Associate Professor of Music Elzbieta Szmyt, who creates an inspiring atmosphere of friendship and support. Students must rent or own their own instrument, as the school can provide only limited access to school harps. Harp rentals are available at Vanderbilt Music Company in Bloomington, 312 S. Swain Ave, phone number 333-5255. Vanderbilt offers a wide range of pedal and non-pedal harps, as well as all necessary music and accessories.

There is a $35.00 processing fee on all refunds.

The check you submit with your registration will be processed electronically and appear on your checking account statement.
