For present and incoming IU voice students

Space in the workshop is limited to 20 students and will be granted on a first come basis. A workshop designed for IU Jacobs School of Music Singers who need to learn their stage-craft and gain more confidence as singing actors. Includes three days of exercises in acting and in stage movement and deportment followed by intensive rehearsals of the assigned scenes. Each singer will be involved in at least two scenes portraying contrasting character types. Scene will be assigned upon full enrollment. There will be separate sessions in Audition Training for each singer. Pre-requisite: All workshop applicants must be associated with Indiana University as a former, current or incoming student in the Jacobs School of Music.
