APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL __, 2010 (received by) 

Late applications will be accepted on the basis of available space.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE: MAY 7, 2010

Applicants will be notified of acceptance to the program by e-mail if possible, or by mail postmarked before Friday, May 7.  The Piano Academy will respond in one of three ways to a student's application: admit, decline, or wait-list. It is not always possible to inform wait-listed students by May 7 whether we will have a space for them. Occasionally, a wait-listed student may not get a definitive decision until late May.

Applicants may request an early decision on their application. In most cases we can give an answer relatively soon after the full application is received.  Note:  we must have all application materials in hand to make an early decision; incomplete applications will not be processed. To request an early decision, contact the director, Karen Taylor.

FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 24, 2009 (received by)

APPLICATION CHECK LIST:

In order to be considered for financial assistance, the Piano Academy must receive all application materials by the application deadline April 24, 2009 including:

1. Completed application form
2. Recording of two contrasting works
3. Principal teacher's recommendation
4. List of repertoire studied during the past two years
5. Application fee
6. All relevant financial aid documents and fees

NOTIFICATION OF FINANCIAL AID AWARDS: May 8, 2009

Applicants will be notified of awards by e-mail or by mail postmarked on or before May 8.

TOTAL FEES DUE: MAY 26, 2009

REGISTRATION:  Sunday, June 20, 2010, 1:00-3:30 p.m. in the lobby of Read Residence Hall.
