Course Information

 

June 30-July 9, 2008

 

Edward Auer, director

  •        Opening concert by Mr. Auer, June 30, 5:00 p.m. Ford Hall
  • Jacobs School of Music Faculty Presentation:     

      Halina Goldberg, Polish scholar and musicologist

  • Guest Recital: Junghwa Moon Auer, July 1, 2008, 5:00 p.m. Ford Hall
  • Each participant must play at least one of Chopin's four Scherzi or four Ballades.
  • Additional repertoire may be selected from piano works by the following composers: Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Schumann.
  • Participants will receive at least one 50-minute private lesson with Mr. Auer in addition to playing in master classes.
  • Each participant will have the opportunity to perform in one of two recitals.
  • Auditors may attend daily sessions and all guest presentation.
  • Participant Brunch: Sunday, July 6 th at Professor Auer’s home.
