Retreat for Violin and Viola Teachers

This year the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music RETREAT FOR VIOLIN AND VIOLA TEACHERS is divided into three sessions: Session One ("Beginning the Violin Journey"), Session Two ("Establishing a Healthy Foundation with Etudes, Scales and Repertoire"), and the Retreat for School String Teachers.  The Retreat for School String Teachers runs concurrently with Session One, but has separate afternoon classes.  In lieu of private lessons, group classes on secondary instruments will be provided.

Participants may enroll for Session One, the Retreat for School String Teachers, Sessions One and Two, or the Retreat for School String Teachers and Session Two.  (Either Session One or the Retreat for School String Teachers is a prerequisite for Session Two.)  If participants completed Session One during a previous year, they may enroll for Session Two by itself.
